This machine tool distributor, located in Troy, MI, specializes in assisting manufacturing facilities stay ahead of their competition by providing access to the latest in metalworking technology. They also offer service/application/engineering resources, as well as complete support prior to purchase and long after installation. For the last 15 years, they have been successful in hiring and training the best support team in the state and have grown to become Michigan's premiere CNC supplier.

In this role you will have the opportunity to aid customers state-wide by providing service assistance for their complex milling and turning machines. What's more, this position requires MINIMAL travel (little-to-none overnight stays) and the ability to live anywhere in the state of Michigan.

This is a day shift position where you launch from home most days.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of CNC metal cutting machines
• Perform field service, installations or PMs as required
• Resolve customer issues and provide sales support

Qualifications

• Experience performing service, troubleshooting, installations, and preventative maintenance on CNC metal cutting machines
• Background in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs
• Strong communicator and ability to interact with customers professionally
• Capable of working unsupervised
