Position Description

Position Title: Client Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The role is responsible for day-to-day interactions with accounts for customer service. Client managers are responsible for coordinating services required by clients ensuring they are completed. The primary role is to process client renewals, help retain all existing clients, and provide day-to-day customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Renewals

• Request renewal/quoting documents from current clients
• Provide content to marketing for guidebooks and assist as needed
• Obtain and submit new plan, renewal carrier or point solution paperwork prior to carrier deadlines
• Assist in guiding clients through implementation of carrier and point solutions when Account Director is unavailable
• Complete renewal of all plans and policies within Brokerage Builder
• Renew COBRA rates and plans with Streamline HR to ensure all participants are notified of new plans as well as the option to enroll
• Send CMS Notification to all clients within 15 days of the effective date of the new plan

Enrollment

• Oversee all employee change processes executed by Client Specialist at Open Enrollment and throughout the plan year

Engagement

• Be the inside support representative for Benefits Consultants
• Monitor and answer client calls/emails daily
• Address all client requests/claims issues and log in Brokerage Builder;
• Communicate resolutions back to client, ensuring Account Director is aware of the issue and the resolution
• Address and resolve any billing issues with clients
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or industry experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and aptitudes
