Job Description

Our client is a general contractor based in the Houston area. They are looking to hire a Civil/Structural Project Manager for a variety of projects. The project base focuses mostly on: schools, industrial, retail, mixed-use

Must have skills and Requirements:

- Able to attend online and in-person coordination meetings with clients on a frequent basis.

- Provide concise engineering design direction and delegate tasks to CAD designers and E.I.T's.

- Comprehensive understanding of civil site design concepts, including but not limited to floodplain, site grading, utilities, drainage design and calculations, and detention for commercial projects

- Review and respond to project RFIs, product submittals, and change order pricing.

- Perform effective site visits with detailed notes, pictures, and measurements.

- Ability to convey design information to clients and contractors during coordination and site meetings.

- Manage several project schedules and prioritize project deadlines.

- Coordination of project invoicing.

- Draft fee proposals for potential projects based on expected level of effort and project location.

- Must be organized and have effective communications with team.
