Job Details

Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• EIT or P.E. license in the State of TX Required, or ability to get Reciprocity
• 3-5 years' of consulting engineering experience for Civil/Environment municipal infrastructure projects & facilities.
• Municipal project experience planning, design, permitting and/or construction administration of infrastructure improvements
• Software Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and use of standard engineering software. AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
• Experience with WaterCAD, KYPipe, or similar water distribution modeling software is preferred, Not Required
• Detail-oriented team player possessing strong planning, organizational, and communication skills

Duties

• Participate in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal infrastructure facilities/projects
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for utility infrastructure projects
• Prepare reports, Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Analyze processes based on field investigations, drawings, and specifications, and perform calculations
• Perform construction observation and field engineering services
• Review and prepare federal, state, and local permit applications
