Responsibilities:

Site Civil Design, including:

Site development, drainage, and roadways
Experience with structural steel design (RISA 3D preferred)
Experience with Concrete and HMA pavement designs
Experience with Foundation designs (RISA Foundations preferred)
Developing specification packages for buildings, materials, and construction procedures
Permitting experience is a plus
Interface with clients; the development of bid specifications, qualifying, managing, and interfacing with subcontractors
Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects
Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data
Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project
Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards
Directly supports on-site Site Supervisors for project support during construction
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
Qualifications:
An understanding on the interrelation of civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on construction projects is a plus
Experience in LNG, LPG, and/or natural gas is preferred, but applicable non-gas, industrial or utility experience will be considered
Experience with industrial site design and construction
MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
AutoCAD Civil experience a plus
Multi-tasking manage deadlines
Ability to travel locally and nationally, potentially 10%-15% of the time

Certifications/Licenses:

BS degree in Civil Engineering
PE preferred but not required
8-10 years-experience preferred
