Requirements


  • BSCE
  • EI required, PE preferred
  • 3+ years of previous private and public design experience.
  • Basic knowledge of civil design construction and land surveying.
  • Perform design computations by hand and with design software packages.
  • Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS design tools.
  • Work closely with engineering and drafting team to develop construction plans and specifications for subdivision and light commercial design


projects.


  • Ability to competently work with all AutoCAD Civil 3D design features and functions.
  • Ability to work within a team in a coordinated effort to simultaneously design, layout and draft residential subdivision and light commercial design -


projects.


  • Ability to follow guidance from the Design/Project Engineer (PE).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced use of Microsoft Office and Adobe software packages.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Expert level Microsoft Office 365 (entire suite).
  • Ability to create documents, process, and/or procedures.
  • Ability to provide updates on activity (daily, weekly, monthly) as necessary.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and desire to be taught and also learn on your own.
  • Integrity, credibility, and commitment to company vision.
