As a Health and Safety Director, you will:
Incorporate our company mission, culture, and values to maintain an inclusive environment and positive relationships with families, staff, and clients.
Regularly monitor the center's programs to assess program quality and that the children's learning is effectively documented and visible.
Lead compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, company policies, and new employee orientation.
Requirements:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field highly preferred; Associate degree required with educational plan to complete Bachelor's degree
At least two years of center supervisory or administrative experience in a high-quality program required, experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center strongly preferred
At least two years of professional child care teaching experience required
Must meet state requirements for Teacher and additional center/school requirements may apply
12 ECE units completed required: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing for COVID-19 (testing supplies and tracking provided by Bright Horizons) to ensure compliance with enhanced health and safety protocols and to keep yourself and others safe and free from illness.
