Northrop Grumman Aerospace Structures is searching for a Chief Quality Engineer to join the Mission Assurance team within the Air Dominance division in Clearfield, UT.

• The candidate will serve as a Chief Quality Engineer and function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
• The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, perform technical assessments and participate in CCB (Change Control Board) and data review activities.
• The candidate is expected to regularly interface with operations, program management, engineering staff and external customers.
• The candidate should be willing to occasionally work during odd hours (nights/weekends) and occasionally longer than normal (>40 hrs/wk) to meet deadlines.
• The candidate should possess a strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously.
• Provides data for and assists in risk management (identifies potential risks).
• Prepares and presents materials for program major milestone meetings.
• Be well versed in specification compliance, statement of work, contractual requirements Supplier Quality Assessment Review and program compliance
• Responsible for failure investigations, Customer/DCMA CARs, escapements, and data analytics to drive corrective actions

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelor of Science Engineering or equivalent degree plus 14 years of experience; Masters' degree plus 12 years of experience; PhD plus 9 years of experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance and special program access
• Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance last investigated within 5 1/2 years
• Technical composite structural knowledge
• Entire-product-lifecycle Systems Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of composite specifications
• Comprehensive understanding of technical requirements for composites and the dynamic properties of composites

Salary Range: $134,700 USD - $202,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
