As a Chapter Leader within Data Platforms, you will work as an engineering leader within Cloud & Platform Engineering Chapter Area, enabling our Data platform delivery squads to purse outstanding levels of engineering maturity while building our next generation data platforms. You will lead a Chapter of highly skilled engineers who are working with the latest cloud data technologies utilizing leading edge engineering practices to deliver innovative engineering solutions and experiences.
Our Chapter Area blends our passion for building outstanding talent with deep technology expertise while working in an open and transparent way. We are passionate about opensource contribution, sharing our expertise and knowledge across the engineering community while embracing a continuous learning approach supported by a dedicated learning day each week.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Experience in one of the following
- Cloud native databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL etc.) and experience with and/or knowledge of distributed databases (Cockroach, Yugabyte etc.)
- Broad range of relational databases (Sql Server, Oracle, Exadata, etc.) and knowledge of DB virtualization tools and automation.
- Strong understanding of engineering best practices and principles.
- Passionate for new technologies and cloud trends.
- Recognized for driving decisions collaboratively.
- Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills.
- Passion for developing and growing exceptional talent.
- Passionate about working in a culture driven by continuous learning.
