Neil Kelly Company is looking for Carpenters in all locations. If you have experience in residential remodeling and finish carpentry you may be the person we are looking for.

Benefits, Perks and Compensation

Oregon (Eugene, Bend and Portland):

• Union Residential rates, $20-$30/hour DOE
• Union Benefits, Vacation and Pension, equivalent to $13/hour in additional compensation

Washington (Seattle):

• $25-40/hour, DOE
• Medical, Dental and Vision, 401K
• Vacation Time and Paid Holidays

All Locations

• Tool allowance up to $187 month, plus 50% toward YOUR tool purchase and/or repairs (on approved list)
• Bonuses on jobs that have good margins
• Cell phone reimbursement $55 month
• Mileage reimbursement
• Work/life balance. Work a regular work week and have weekends free!
• Opportunity to participate in our Vehicle Wrap Compensation program after 6 months of service. Upon acceptance to the program and vehicle wrap installation, carpenters can earn an additional $300/month.

What does it take to be a Carpenter at Neil Kelly?

• Able to work as a team and independently
• High level of ability to do: demo, site protection, framing, drywall repair (both nailing and finishing), window and door installation, exterior trim, Cabinets, Windows, Doors, Moldings, Exterior trim, Interior finish work
• Experience with Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling, and other Residential Remodeling
• Customer service and client interaction skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem analysis, diagnostic, and solution skills
• Self-motivated with great time management skills
• Ability to deliver and produce projects within approved time schedules and budgets

Requirements

• The right tools to do the job
• Pickup truck with canopy, or utility type van
• Able to pass required pre-employment screenings including criminal background, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
• Able to perform physical exertion including: carrying, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, hauling, and lifting as much as 100 pounds
• Maintain company and OSHA safety requirements
• Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification
• Experience in residential, single unit remodeling (new home construction is great, too!)
