Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our set-crew in Marysville, WA. As part of our team, you will be a key part of our building set-crew. You will be helping with projects that range from the basic installation of relocatable classrooms to complete "turnkey" projects that include all site improvement and utility work for customer as various as office buildings, medical clinics, government services, and workforce housing. You must have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands and with others. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules, are also important.

This position will work some Prevailing Wage jobs paying around $60/hr.

In this role you will:
• Demonstrate ability to perform all requirements of Crew Level 1 & 2 with minimal or no supervision
• Install modular building, block and level concrete foundation, decks, porches, ramps trusses, sheathing, roofing and gables.
• Build and level CMU and Pony Wall foundations
• Build decks, porches, ramps and steps etc.
• Assist with the installation of modular building and trailers.
• Drive company trucks to and from job site.
• Meet transportation company to accept delivery of modular building and place temporary supports.
• Follow all company safety requirements. Have a full understanding of the company safety program, implement and ensure that all other employees on site follow all safety requirements and are using all appropriate PPE.
• Follow all company policies.
Skill/Qualifications:
• Positive "can do" attitude.
• Valid driving license and clean driving record
• Ability to obtain Boeing work badging and Twix card.
• Demonstrable 3 years' experience setting modular buildings and trailers or equivalent.
• Physical attributes to lift and carry 50 lbs. multiple time in a day
• Work effectively with superiors, peers, client and vendors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written (email etc.) communication with supervisors, clients and inspectors.
• Completed OSHA 30 hour course.
• Read and understand site and building plans.
• Ability to use laser leveling equipment, building jacks, demolition and carpenter power tools.
• Mentor and train effectively those at levels 1 & 2.
• Proper attire as needed for safety, weather and job conditions.
• Completed required training.
Physical Requirements:
• Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
• Ability to pick up a minimum of 25 lbs consistently and carry up to 250 feet.
• Work outside in all weather conditions
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work 40 or more hours per week and up to 12 hours per day
