Job description:

Responsibilities:

-- Define, execute and manage plant capital projects and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
-- Manage and coordinate project schedule with contractors, maintenance and operations.
-- Lead and support commissioning and startup of projects, including validation, operating requirements, safety inspection and training.
-- Ensure SHE processes are executed during design, construction and commissioning for capital projects.
-- Lead and Develop Project Scopes within the Plant Work Process and ensure handover to appropriate work process.
-- Execute feasibility studies in case of plant problems, opportunities, product development and technological innovations.
-- Ensure SHE compliance with site management of change procedures for Improve Plant proposals.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

-- BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree with 3+ years' experience as Project/ Engineer in food, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemical plants. MUST HAVE PLANT LEVEL capital project experience.
-- Detailed knowledge of chemical process equipment, process piping, instrumentation/ controls and electrical power distribution as well as improve plant and small projects work processes.
-- Familiar with engineering practices, OSHA/ PSM/ ISO requirements, and plant standards and specifications.
-- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is required.
