The Call Center Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of customer service representatives and ensuring the customer experience is positive. This includes training and coaching team members, developing and implementing customer service guidelines, monitoring quality of service, and providing feedback to management

Call Center Manager Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a high standard of productivity, quality, and customer service, ensuring that quality service levels are met
  • Prepares call center performance reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends
  • Analyze call center data and prepare reports for upper management
  • Coach call center staff through challenging customer service issues
  • Plan and supervise changes and manage the daily operations of the call center
  • Communicate customer issues with the management team and devise ways of improving the customer service experience including resolving problems and complaints
  • Monitor Call Center staff internal/external queue database for quality and attendance
  • Understanding and collecting insurance information
  • When needed, scheduling appointments for multiple dental offices
  • When needed, answering and directing telephone calls at a high volume

Call Center Manager Education

  • Minimum High school diploma, no specific education required. A combination of Education and Experience over 5 years will be considered

Call Center Manager Experience

  • Prior experience as a call center manager is a plus but not required
  • Prior experience as a call center employee required
  • Experience in the dental field needed
  • Exposure to Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
