SUMMARY

The Business Process Owner - Engineering and Quality position is responsible to lead the Business Process Owner (BPO) Team. The engineering & quality BPO will also review, monitor, and continuously improve departmental and cross-functional processes for the Shyft groups engineering & quality applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage BPO team members to build a highly effective, cross funtction team which delivers standard business processes, application governance model and innovation.
• Take ownership and responsibility for the end to end engineering & quality processes and applications including (TeamCenter, Plex, Aurora, Aris etc ).
• Compile and create process documentation, providing training to engineering and quality team members across the business including new team members that join the company.
• Prioritizing critical business projects and enhancements in coordination with IT.
• Drive master data accuracy and ownership within engineering & quality applications to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare all required KPI report requirements and work with IT to obtain data sources and integrations required to build and support them.
• Test system changes and support project deliverables to implement new systems, modules, or enhancements.
• Proactively including and communicating business process changes within the organizational structure and to the impacted cross-functional teams.
• Coordinating and advising SMEs to continuously improve processes/systems that are hindering productivity. Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Five to eight years design or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Two years management experience preferred but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
