Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington's premier retirement community. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents and off-campus clients by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Technician - Painter. Starting rate is $18/hr, but rate of pay will depend on experience!
Seeking a great maintenance technician, with a particular knack for painting! The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license, experience with service on existing equipment and installation of new equipment is necessary, strong handyman knowledge in carpentry, wall patch and repair, electrical, plumbing, as well as exceptional painting experience. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills required.
We have 238 homes, including 20 cottages, on our 18-acre property. We also have several separate buildings. Duties require this person to assist with general building services duties such as moving furniture, general maintenance, basic electrical work, painting, carpentry, drywall, painting or assistance with emergencies involving plumbing or other equipment. This position may also be required to act as a first responder for independent resident medical emergencies, so a CPR/First Aid card is required (we will train if the candidate does not have one.)
Experience working with older adults helpful. A positive outlook, ability to work with a team, energetic approach, and a genuine desire to provide quality customer service and five star hospitality are required.
