Generate leads, and build and nurture client relationships
Responsibilities:
Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base, extends market penetration, and maximizes profitability goals leveraging company advantages and capabilities.
Develop sales and marketing plans for new capabilities acquired by the company
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by analyzing how our capabilities can be employed to best serve their needs
Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Stay on top of US and Canadian building codes and changes as they relate to our product offerings being conversant in code compliance with sales team and customers.
As business conditions warrant, acting as the lead point of contact for selected customers.
experience in budgeting, planning, and executing sales campaigns and overseeing local and regional sales activities
Work with Finance and Purchasing to develop product pricing schedules, strategies, and incentive programs that provide the greatest value to the company.
Recruit salespeople and customer service representatives, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
Oversee the sales team and customer service team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set objectives for the day and monitor progress regularly
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Travel about 20%.
Requirements
1. B achelor's Degree in Marketing or Related.
2. 5 or more years of Building Products Related Sales experience.
3. 3 or more years of Distributor Rep Sales Management experience.
