Bridge Design Engineer

• Pay: $33.65-$52.88/hr ($70,000-$110,000/yr)

Job Description:

• Seeking experienced candidates for bridge design for transportation projects.
• Assist in maintaining existing and building new client relationships.
• Perform engineering tasks in the transportation and high engineering field through application of relevant design criteria, standards and processes.
• Work on multiple design projects and assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering within ABET accredited engineering program
• Professional Engineering License (preferred)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, MicroStation and AutoCAD
• 4 to 10 years of design experience in the highway transportation field
• Design of Bridges is a must, ODOT qualified is preferred.
• Design of rural and urban roadways - Horizontal & Vertical Alignment Design, Intersection Design, Roadway Drainage Design, Interchange Design & Municipal Design (Waterline and Sanitary), Roundabout Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Design, Traffic Control Design
• Experience working on ODOT design projects preferred
