Our client partners with the Department of Health Services to assist callers with questions regarding enrollment into the State's managed care programs, Medicaid Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and BadgerCare Plus. As a Customer Service Representative, you will use multichannel communications to inform and educate members regarding choice options, as well as perform data entry of enrollment choices and exemption/disenrollment in the State's Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS).
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification required
Ideally 2 years of experience in a customer service setting or office setting
Ability to provide compassionate and patient customer service to members
Ability to type 30 wpm (testing required)
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by managing customer calls, obtaining information from current members, potential members, and assessing needs
Maintain updated knowledge of the Wisconsin Medicaid programs and health plans available
Processes enrollments, exemptions, and disenrollments by phone, mail, or other contact methods and input data into the State MMIS and tracks contact in the client system
Work with a diverse population to provide general program information and answer questions about the Wisconsin Medicaid programs
Provide information to current members and potential members to assist them in choosing a health plan, including specific information about each health plan, such as benefits and the plan's network of providers
Respond to calls, emails, and all other correspondence courteously, accurately, and concisely and follow approved validation procedures regarding Personal Health Information and Personally Identifiable Information
Report any issues of concern and/or problems to the Supervisor
Follow policies and procedures without deviation
Evaluate information received through phone contact, ask appropriate follow-up questions, solicit additional information, and evaluate the potential impact of the information provided
