The Automotive Line of Business, a key market segment for Arm, has overall responsibility for defining and driving Arm's automotive strategy, products, market initiatives, ecosystem, developer community and customer/commercial engagements. This is a key role at the center of Arm's automotive business to define and implement the automotive solutions and go-to-market (GTM) activities working as part of Arm's global automotive GTM team. Requiring high levels of interaction with the automotive ecosystem including OEMs and Tier1s as well as with Arm's internal product and solutions team, this role has the ability to have a major impact on Arm's success in the market.

You will take responsibility for growing demand for Arm's current products while defining and leading the creation of the next generation of products and solutions.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with marketing/business development background capable of nurturing close customer relationships while also able to understand basic technical concepts of the product, to help understand automotive market requirements for Arm solutions and then feed those into solutions and product teams to help generate deliverables.

What will I be accountable for as a solutions/ecosystems specialist :

  • Help define the requirements for solutions for autonomous drive (AD) solutions working closely with North American AD companies, OEMs, Tier1s and the automotive ecosystem
  • Be GTM lead for AD solutions
  • Work closely with other members of the global automotive GTM team to coalesce those requirements for a global solution
  • Bring those requirements into the solutions and products teams within the automotive line of business
  • Drive Arm automotive technology and solutions into North American automotive market
  • Create both pull-through for design ins from AD companies, OEMs and Tier 1s and working closely with the sales account owners for design wins.
  • Work with automotive ecosystem to ensure their technology and solutions work best on Arm and complement/complete Arm AD solutions
  • Support marketing activities with Arm ecosystem
  • Development and management of collaborative and positive relationships with Arm's external partners, especially around AD
  • Evangelize Arm solutions internally and externally (e.g. present at trade shows).

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of CPU, SoC, System and Software technologies and trends within the embedded and automotive semiconductor market
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers, conferences, etc
  • Understanding of, or experience with autonomous drive companies and solutions
  • A good understanding of automotive software stacks , especially AD
  • Experience of customer interaction of a technical solution

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :

  • Experience of working in or directly with Automotive OEMs, and Tier1 or Tier2 electronics suppliers
