It's All Good At Applewood! Our GM and Ford dealerships in Port Hardy are looking for a few experienced Licensed Technicians to come and join our team! We are looking across all of Canada for the best talent and are offering a few things to make your transition easier.
We offer a flexible schedule that will fit your lifestyle! Want to pack up and move you and your family to Port Hardy? Great! We will pay for your relocation cost from anywhere in Canada to our beautiful city.
Relocation Assistance to Port Hardy, BC
While you transition to Port Hardy, we'll put you up in temporary accommodations to help you settle in!
Depending on your experience, our hourly rate ranges from $30/hr - $60/hr. Hourly rate is $37 plus any certifications plus rate increases based on hours produced. A more details chart is provided at the time of hire.
Since Port Hardy is about a 1 hour plane ride to downtown Vancouver, we also offer a one-time return flight plus 2-nights accommodations, paid by the company, for you and your family to explore the city.

Red Seal Automotive Service technicians certification (or equivalent)
Valid Class 5 BCDL with a clean driving record (or equivalent)
In-depth knowledge and background in technical diagnosis and repairs
Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Previous GM/Ford experience (preferred not required)
