Aegis is currently partnering with a large automotive OEM in the Greater Indianapolis, IN area who is seeking Quality Engineers to join their team! These individuals will identify issues and optimize production processes and equipment through root cause analysis to achieve the safety, quality, output, and cost goals of the organization. DIRECT-HIRE

SHIFT: 8:30am-4:30pm

PAY: $65K-$80K + PAID OT

Responsibilities:

• Interpret precision measurement data and correlate to complete vehicle concerns.
• Develop and maintain list of critical product and process indicators.
• Lead improvement plans to validate production processes to achieve department & plant targets for both new model and current production.
• Create professional documents to record and track measurement results.
• Lead and support continuous improvement activities to improve CP/CPK for both Body and Stamping.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, plus 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and process control.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
