Job Overview

DESCRIPTION:

Actalent Engineering has a client who is a Fortune 500 Telecommunications company looking for a remote Automation Engineer to join their Engineering tools team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing tools that help discover, mitigate, and report security issues helping product engineering teams build and deliver industry-leading secure software, hardware, and services to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS (2+ Years of Experience):

Fluent in Python and React
Experience with Django
Maintain the auto-tests both on backend, front end, unit and end-to-end
Write some tests, and lead others in writing tests
Work closely with our DevOps engineer to ensure quality is assured for the project
Running and analyze test suites
Assign in test and quality planning
Write scripting and other infrastructure to facilitate testing and validation
Assist in code reviews
Design and write more complicated integration tests at any part of our code base
Spend time trying to break things
Analyze failures to find root causes.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education: A Computer Science or related undergraduate and/or master's degree with 2-5 years of software development experience in relevant technologies detailed in the minimum job requirements
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
