Job Overview
Job Purpose:
As an employee within the engineering department it is expected that you will be completing tasks such as described below.
Essential Job Results :
1. Establishes project objectives by analyzing project proposals, bids, contract documents & drawings.
2. Compiles project details by completing an equipment list audit of the proposal or bid documents and creating a chart/list of changes, discrepancies/errors if any & adds when effectively justifiable.
3. Develops schematic & layout drawings by referring to customer specifications for use in design and implementation. When attempting to add product to a contracted job, you are to coordinate with the sales person for that particular project prior to any implementation to drawings, etc.
4. Determines design factors by analyzing sketches and specifications.
5. Computes angles, weights, surface area, dimensions, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes by researching all product data, contract documents and project information.
6. Makes modifications by correcting deficiencies or to reduce installation, equipment functionality & procurement problems, along with abiding by the contract documents.
7. Completes onsite measurements, photos and obstacles as needed for project drawings and details for completing installation drawing sets.
8. Physically capable to lift over your head, lifting large items, pushing, pulling standing for long periods of time, driving, flying, (overnight travel on rare occasions) as needed along and in conjunction with the employee manual and contract documents. Fear of heights or working in lifts or small spaces cannot be accommodated. No physical restrictions as every employee is required to have the same physical abilities for the highest level of safety when/if ever on a project site.
9. Provide support for all departments by confirming with the supervisor/manager as to other tasks and projects as available to work on other tasks and projects as directed. Treat each customer with exceptional customer service & honor each co-worker with the utmost level of respect & professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
