Established manufacturing company is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter / Designer for an immediate opening!

This exceptional, 60+ yr old company designs and manufacturers custom solutions across a wide range of project types including residential, institutional, office, and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities:

- Design plans using CAD software

- Coordinate with a team, including designers, clients, architects, interior designers, and contractors

- Prepare detailed construction and fabrication drawings for a wide range of products for the architectural and industrial markets

- Ordering of materials and supplies related to equipment layout

- Design, organize, and implement new equipment from initial concept to manufacturing

- Communicate with clients directly to define project requirements

- Manage all aspects of the project management process

Experience:

- 3+ years of experience in design, construction, or architectural materials industry

- Knowledge of sheet metal or the manufacturing process is a plus

- Knowledge of architecture and construction detailing is a plus

- Proficiency in AutoCAD

- Ability to review architecture CAD drawings is a must

- Experience in SolidWorks is a plus but not required

The salary range will be $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.

Office hours are from 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.
