Palmetto Ford is hiring now for an experienced Service Tech / Mechanic for our busy Service Department. Ford engine experience is a definite plus but not required. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of automotive service tech experience.

Responsibilities - Service Technician:
Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance which includes diagnoses, engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air-conditioning.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Provide an estimate of the time needed for repairs.
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
Qualifications/Requirements - Service Technician:
At least 2 years of Automotive Service Technician experience is preferred
Ford certification is a plus!
Focused on providing excellent customer service
Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
