Responsibilities:
Pre-Op Inspection ; Repair Planning: Plan repairs to avoid waste and the need to rework later in the process.
De-trim and disassemble vehicles. Perform pre-pulls to make repair vs replace decisions.
Parts Procurement: Identify and source parts as necessary.
Use good judgment to decide when damaged parts can be safely repaired for cost and cycle-time savings.
Maintain parts/materials carts in an organized manner.
Vehicle Repair:
Meet or exceed our requirements for productivity as measured by hours per day for each repair order.
Utilize technical information sheet attached to the work order for all structural repairs, replacement, airbag and mechanical work.
Safe & Organized Workplace: Utilize all required safety equipment.
Participate in monthly safety meetings.
Keep personal work area organized.
Return tools and equipment promptly.
Requirements:
Experience required - 1-3 years preferred
Adhere to company's technical repair processes and manufacturer's guidelines
Ability to skillfully use frame and measuring equipment
Valid state driver's license
Participation in I-CAR Training
Reliable attendance required
