What You Would Do
This person will direct and lead the admin and production teams to ensure that sales, operational, financial, and customer satisfaction metrics are achieved by strict adherence to ABRA's Operational Excellence processes. They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization. They will provide direction and insight to drive bottom line performance, customer satisfaction, employee retention/turnover and enhance company value.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
Continually monitors work-in-process and vehicles due-in to maintain WIP count between the expected target.
Loads balances when WIP is over 100% and advises operations director when WIP targets need adjustment.
Spearheads the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Collaborates with the operations director to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
Develops and maintains a culture of performance, profitability, accountability, and fun by providing day-to-day leadership which mirrors the company's core values, holding self and others accountable for maintaining an organized workplace, and working with the owner and executive team to foster an atmosphere of togetherness between departments and locations.
Upholds strong controls/processes for customer and business receivables, asset turns, parts inventories, and labor costs.
Responsible for the hiring, firing, development, and succession plans of ABRA team as well as complete and appropriate staffing that balances profitability with customer experience.
Ensures that staff is adhering to appropriate procedures for DRP compliance and that all staff complete online exams within corporate requirements, making customer calls as required, keeping files up to date throughout the repair process, and following ABRA's safety and environmental requirements.
Ensures that required safety inspections and meetings take place and are communicated to staff.
Works in partnership with the internal audit team and utilizes all software effectively.
Communicates effectively with insurance partners and responds expediently to any requests.
Responsible for making sure all repairs are completed right the first time in adherence with ABRA's quality standards and consistently performing thorough QC checks before a vehicle is painted, after paint, and before delivery.
Ensures a thorough process is followed and that parts procurement runs efficiently.
Develops and grows relationships/partnerships with manufacture reps, business partners, and key industry people.
Education
High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
Experience
Thorough knowledge of collision repair processes gained through a minimum of plus years' of hands-on industry experience.
5 plus years' Supervisory experience preferred.
1 or more years DMS experience preferred.
Supervisory Expectations:
Directly supervises one or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; managing turnover and succession planning; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Work Hours:
Regular work hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs. The schedule is between the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position is 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with evening and weekends as needed to satisfy the requirements of the position. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
Wages - Salary, Exempt: $80k-$100k annually plus bonus opportunities. DOE
