As a Customer Service Representative, you may support our trade partners, consumers, and/or internal process partners via phone, chat, email or other technology for our Whirlpool Consumer Services organization. These interactions range from scheduling service appointments to placing orders and scheduling deliveries.

The call center hours of operations are Monday - Friday, 8AM - 6PM EST. You'll need to be willing to work a 40 hour schedule. Your initial shift will most likely be an evening/closing shift and your exact hours will be assigned during training. Shifts change once per quarter or as business needs dictate. Training hours are 8am - 5pm for the first 7 weeks.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing inbound and outbound calls, emails or chats based on business needs
- Navigating through multiple computer systems to help resolve consumer issues as well as document the consumer interaction as needed.
- Managing and maintaining your schedule through both Whirlpool and Randstad computer systems. This may include logging in and out, time off requests, and ensuring timecard accuracy.
- Ability to manage the consumer's interaction while utilizing multiple computer screens, requiring computer setup comprehension. (Laptop, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Router, Ethernet Cable, Connections, etc.)
- Helping consumers resolve issues, providing troubleshooting information, placing consumer initiated orders, and scheduling service while ensuring consumers are fully satisfied when the call, email or chat is completed.
- Negotiating through and diffusing escalated consumer interactions by demonstrating soft skills and issue ownership

Successful candidates will:
- be available to work a 40 hour schedule
- have a High School Diploma/GED
- have intermediate computer skills
- have at least 1 year of customer service experience such as retail, food service, hospitality or contact center
- have Cable or DSL internet service available in your area. A speed test will be conducted to ensure your service meets the minimum requirements. A wired ethernet cable connection is required. Satellite service, Wi-Fi, and Hot Spots are not acceptable.
- be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen

Preferred skills and experiences:
- Previous virtual call center experience or applicable retail customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to type at least 35 error-free words per minute while interacting with customers
- Comfortable working with call center software such as SAP-eCRM, Aspect, or Genesys and online meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Suite, specifically in a Google environment (Gmail, Sheets, Chat, Forms, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and quickly find appropriate resolutions while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Experience working in a fast paced environment while managing multiple computer programs, across multiple screens.
