The Associate Service Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and product support to various internal and external customers. This position will allow you to get out from behind the desk and apply your technical knowledge and expertise to solve our customer's problems every day. Upon hire, the Associate Service Engineer will participate in a comprehensive 6-month training program based in our World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio. Through classroom and on-the-job training, you will be exposed to all aspects of Timken's Bearing and Power Transmission businesses, Timken's operating philosophies as well as our customers' applications. You will become the expert in the technical skills required to solve customer problems. Our training program is one of the most respected in the industry and prepares you for future success. Upon completion of the training program, you will be placed into one of our sales offices or territories within the United States. You will work jointly with various Timken teams such as Sales, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering to recognize customer needs and solve challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor for customers by identifying and understanding problems, providing solutions, promoting Timken products, and conducting trainings as needed. We are looking for December 2022 or May 2023 graduates with the following background and experience:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering degree
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Prior Engineering internships/co-ops highly preferred
• Leadership skills demonstrated through academic, extra-curricular, military service or employment experiences
• Ability to learn quickly
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be open to relocation
