We are seeking an Associate Project Manager professional to support our Oil & Gas business unit. This position is offered from any of our Pennsylvania offices or remotely supporting our Oil & Gas Engineering Business Unit.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Associate Project Manager ExpectationsDevelop scopes of work alongside a technical engineering manager that highlight expedient schedules, quality deliverables, and reasonable fees
Assist others to create proposals and qualification packages
Manage whole projects (typically less than approximately $50,000) from inception to close out commensurate with the firms documented Best Practice PM procedure
Manage internal team members and track progress according to baseline schedule and fee arrangement
Communicate with the technical team to identify out of scope requests, and communicate with clients to appropriately satisfy the requests
Schedule and orchestrate project milestone meetings
Assist with the development of design concept layouts, assist with specific deliverables, detailed technical QA/QC, etc
Pursuit, or have obtained, PMP certification a plus
Utilize past technical knowledge, or have the ability to develop technical vocabulary, to create a connection between the client and the project teams
Develop and enhance the relationship(s) between the client and Entech
Developing and maintaining strong networking relationships within the local hydrocarbon industry
Enhanced business development skills and abilities are additionally desirable, additional consideration would be granted to candidates who are willing to partake in some, or all, of the following: Scheduling meetings with new and existing or past clients to uncover project opportunities
Participating in and representing the firm at industry trade shows, conferences, and professional organizations
Gathering and transferring information on potential clients and projects and participating in the O&G
Occasional travel (up to 4 to 6 times a year) within the Northeast, predominately within PA, Ohio, WV, and NY.
Marketing Team with communication through a future CRM System.
Reporting on planned and executed sales activities to appropriate levels of management
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience in a project management or engineering capacity
An entry level project manager with technical experience with oil and/or gas facilities work is preferred, but not required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelors degree in a related field of study
Valid drivers license
Ability to work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
The ideal candidate would possess a strong aptitude for communication, teamwork and productivity, as well as conscientiousness toward internal and external clients needs. Viable candidates may currently be involved in technical engineering, infrastructure operations, or the construction industry, but have some skill and/or desire for more client outreach and interaction.
