Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Field Engineering Organization is seeking an Associate Electronics Field Engineer or Electronics Field Engineer for the Airborne Multi-Functions Sensors Division. The Engineer will support AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) products at the Baltimore campus initially, and then later at the customer's location. This role involves working hands-on to provide engineering support to Northrop Grumman's customers as they execute their missions. This position will be based in Baltimore and will require an eventual long-term assignment of at least 2 years in the field (on site in California). Field bonuses, supplements, and extended work week hours are provided. Relocation expenses to and from the customer's site are covered. Extension of the assignment is possible based on follow-on contract option(s) and the candidate's desire to stay at the assignment location.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications for Associate Electronic Field Engineer:
Salary Range 2: $78,600 USD - $118,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Must be an effective communicator and possess good organizational skills to manage frequent intra-organizational and customer interaction.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or related STEM degree and a minimum of 6 months related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret and SAP (Special program access) clearance
- Electronics/electrical knowledge
- Must be willing and able to take on a 2-year assignment in California after trained and cleared
- Ability/willingness to be an excellent team player to support an important mission
- Must be able to work some off shift hours, if needed
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret and SAP (Special program access) clearance
- Electronics/electrical knowledge
- Must be willing and able to take on a 2-year assignment in California after trained and cleared
- Ability/willingness to be an excellent team player to support an important mission

- Current SCI (Special Compartmented Information) clearance
- Experience highly desired in the following areas: integration and test techniques; MATLAB, or related signal analysis tools; interfacing protocols, test equipment, and customer interaction.
- Ability/interest with RF and radar technologies
