PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Associate Account Representative position is an entry level position for the field sales team to assist with open territories and build community awareness in support of our blood collection needs and inspiring new donors to join our mission. Associate Account Representatives develop successful strategies to pursue new partnerships and create awareness and education within, but not limited to, Diverse Community and University Groups to source and qualify new accounts while also working in partnership with Account Representatives and existing accounts to execute productive blood drive programs with partnering organizations. This position is critical to ensuring a stable public blood supply.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This Actively prospects and networks to continually add new, productive blood drive opportunities
Shadowing blood drive process with new account build and calendar requirements
On-site recruits as needed or required; hosts sign up tables and supports event drives, will include some evening and/or weekend hours
Provides education and support for mission awareness
Prepares and conducts presentations to community groups
Develops and maintains relationships with community organizations and community advocates
Works with marketing/communications to identify blood drive programs and prepares content needed to support defined strategies
Meets project timelines, is organized and timely with follow up
Utilizes Pipeline tracker and keeps up-to-date contact information for key points of contact and interactions had
Identifies, documents, and provides feedback on issues regarding customer needs/requirements, customer issues/concerns and satisfaction, potential expansion opportunities, competitor activities/strategies, and similar information
Create community awareness and development though social media outreach (establish relationships and post drive information)
Administrative support

INCLUDES TERRITORY COVERAGE RESPONSIBILITIES AS PART OF BUSINESS NEED Develops and
Has territory responsibilities when assisting team during vacancies and/or to address collection gaps
Meets and exceeds monthly collection goals and booking targets with an emphasis on accuracy, productivity, cost-effectiveness, blood inventory needs, efficient operations, and customer service
Evaluates the key motivators within each organization to elicit the commitment and follow through needed to ensure optimal participation at blood drives
Manages blood drive details and outcomes by scheduling resources; ensuring appropriateness of blood drive site; communicating internally all details regarding the blood drive; coordinating with organization logistics and needs for the blood drive; forecasting production of the drive; clearly defining expectations of the group; providing tools, timelines and training to the group; scheduling communication touch points; and managing successful outcomes
Appraises existing accounts to identify opportunity for improvement, creates a strategy, and pursues a conversation with account leadership
Works collaboratively with other departments as needed to ensure successful blood drives and provides excellent internal customer service
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
All new employees must obtain primary Covid-19 vaccination (single dose Johnson & Johnson or 2 dosages of Pfizer/Moderna/Novavax) prior to start date or have an approved accommodation prior to their start date.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, have completed 1 year of coursework, and possesses relevant experience. Relevant coursework also considered in years of experience credited.
A current valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of related work experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred
