Job Overview
We are hiring Assistant Project Managers to oversee all facets of major energy retrofits. The APM will be working for a large Engineering firm working alongside NYCHA.
Description:
- Currently looking for an experienced and driven Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to direct activities and manage projects involving design, construction of buildings, energy projects, facilities, and/or wastewater/water construction projects.
- The right candidate will manage all functions of the job site as required.
- One of the most prominent energy engineering firms in the country.
- Excellent management + culture.
MUST HAVES
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other construction related field.
- 1+ years of Construction/Project Manager experience in NYC on relevant projects
- Relevant Experience: Energy Efficiency Implementation (Boiler/Chiller Replacements, Lighting Retrofits, Sub-metering projects, etc.)
- Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
- Ability to manage sub-contractors
- Professional: will be client facing on all projects, this is 50% of the position
- Ability to travel to all boroughs, including Staten Island.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and generally tech savvy/ready and willing to learn new systems.
