Our client, a civil construction contractor is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Sr Project Engineer for a full time permanent staff role, focused on highway/road/site work/civil construction and excavation projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering, construction management or related field desired
• (2) Two or more years of relevant construction experience
• The ability to effectively communicate in written and spoken word.
• Understanding and agreement of the importance and necessity for safety on the work site
• Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
• Understands project cost control and change order management
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Must possess effective communication skills written, electronic and verbal
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and related programs
