Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
1-2 years' experience
Ability to operate asphalt paving equipment
Skills:
Ability to work independently and as a member of a crew on active job sites
Perform manual labor such as raking, shoveling, roller, and lifting
Operate various pieces of equipment as needed
Understand OSHA regulations
Ability to work in high temperatures, high noise levels, uneven surfaces, around traffic, and in various weather conditions
Reports to supervisor daily
Measures slope and thickness of paving to verify compliance with contract
Must have a "safety first" attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
