Job Summary:
This Asphalt Distributor Operator operates an asphalt distributor on road construction projects in Towns, Villages, Counties, and for State DOT's. The operator will perform basic maintenance and cleaning on the distributor, load it with material at a central location, and drive it to individual projects within the work region (multiple states). A high level of coordination and awareness is needed for this position.
Essential Functions:
1. CDL Class B with air brake and tank endorsement
2. Experience in the asphalt paving industry, preferred
3. Proficient verbal and written English
4. Legal right to work in the U.S.

This position works in a construction environment. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
