Job Title:
Area Superintendent
This position reports to the area Cross Functional Team Manager and is the primary CFT interface with technical teams and functions to implement and execute programs and processes necessary to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable production that is aligned with environmental guidelines and regulations.
Requirements: - 5 yrs. Supervisory experience and BS in Engineering or 5 yrs. Supervisory experience and 10 yrs. Refinery Operations experience.
-Requires functional knowledge of EH&S Management systems and objectives.
-Requires functional knowledge of Production Planning management systems and objectives.
-Capability to provide backfill for CFT Mgr. and Lead a CFT
-Ability to support troubleshooting of basic process problems
-Fundamental level of proficiency with OLT, KMS, Enablon, GRIN, SAP
Accountabilities:
- Work with CFT Mgr. and PSM team to complete PHAs.
- Work with MOC leaders to manage and implement changes.
- Work with PSSR leaders to ensure assets and operating staff are ready for startup.
- Work with area operators and learning resources to to develop and maintain quality operating procedures.
- Support area risk assessements
- Conduct audits and translate learning for continuous improvement
- Support development of area training and training plans
- Support area incident investigations, development of corrective actions and communication of findings to affected employees
- Accountable for ensuring work selection process is followed
- Accountable ensuring work scheduling process is followed
- Support TA/Outage work scopes
- Develop TA/Outage staffing plan, schedules and procedures
- Support implementation of reliability programs & initiatives
- Support development and management of CFT budgets
- Provide input (asset contstraints, outage schedules) to production plans
- Support development of operator staffing plan
- Work with operators to troubleshoot process and equipment problems
- Primary CFT interface with Projects, Turnaround and Training teams
