Description:

• Seeking a Junior Architect support the design teams on design and production of Interior and/or base building architecture using Computer Aided Drafting software (VECTORWORKS in this case due to MAC platform) Most of their current work demand falls into the industrial/data center team. They are backlogged beyond the year and they need 2 people minimum to fill the role.
• Tasks include: Survey, Survey input, Space plan or space plan input. Pick up red lines on CD sets, help to produce the CD sets with collaboration/input from team. Should have basic understanding of codes and ADA (can teach this if not), Assist with measurements, understand USF and RSF and core factors (can teach them!), assist with the CA/submittal phase. Help assemble drawing sets, light coordination with MEP consultants, meet with Architectural reps and assist with maintaining Architectural resources to include CAD symbols, 3D libraries and symbols and hard copy resources. Could attend some interviews if personality allows. Create renderings, help with presentations, colored elevations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in architecture preferred
• Technical certificate or real life experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Must be a elligible to work in the US
• Basic understanding of codes and ADA
• Client interfacing personality
• 2-5 years of experience
