The Analyst II, Non-Technical Customer Support within Beckman Coulter is responsible for reviewing redlines of contract terms and conditions in close partnership with legal, sales and direct customer interaction for timely turnaround time (TAT). This position is part of the Contract Development team and will be located in Brea CA. In Contract Development, our vision is the development and management of error proof contract documents where analyst provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis. You will be a part of the Central/West Contract Development team and report to the Manager of Contract Development If you thrive in a highly influential role and want to work to build a world-class Client Services organization-read on. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Prepare highly complex, customized contracts which involve the integration of many diverse elements of high cost/ revenue, to ensure compliance to company policies, GPO's terms and pricing guidelines to support profitable sales growth Advises sales on handling objections, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures Regularly explain, in business terms: process improvement, the impact on both the business and profitability of the contract to assist sales and support staff in understanding the processes, bottlenecks and inconsistencies Manage and collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closures Build strong partnerships with cross functional peers and superiors to ensure overall streamlined process and champion contract policy and procedure revisions Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters as relevant while being a sales advocate and trusted partner to internal organizations to understand sales issues Participate in complex assignments where independent judgment, action and initiative are necessary The essential requirements of the job include: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years working experience in a combination of Sales Operations, Customer Service, Contracting, Quoting, or Pricing Proven ability to read and understand terms and conditions of a contract required for proper administration and compliance Possess strong analytical skills, pays attention to details while ensuring accuracy, having strong written and verbal communication skills Work well in a cross-functional environment serving as a technical subject matter expert and build support across a complex set of stakeholders is required. A voice for our sales partner Proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables, vlookups and standard functions and MS Word including track changes and doc compare It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Strong organizational skills, strategic thinker and problem solver, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time sensitive environment Ability to work in fast paced environment and multi-task workload while maintaining all organizational and professional ethical standards Experience with the Oracle or other ERP system At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
