Job Overview

Aircraft Structures and Sheet Metal Mechanic

ATP Flight School is seeking an Aircraft Structures/Sheetmetal Technician to join our growing team. We need an expert that can fit in quickly, has a positive attitude, and has extensive aircraft structures and sheetmetal experience working on general aviation aircraft.

Position Overview

This position works as a team member performing inspections, repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft. The successful candidate will possess the appropriate personality to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality. The candidate will also possess the ability to dynamically move through ATP's computerized logbook management systems, adhere to the maintenance and manufacturer manuals, and make safety-focused decisions on a day to day basis.

Minimum Qualifications for the A&P Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance Technician

4 or more years of aircraft structural repairs and modifications

Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals
Possess adequate tools

Desired Qualifications for the A&P Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance Technician

A&P Certification
General Aviation aircraft experience

Responsibilities of the A&P Mechanic / Aviation Maintenance Technician

Perform efficient repairs and modifications in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and company policies
Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries
Follow all policies and procedures
Keep a clean and orderly work environment
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned

Pay & Benefits

$25 to $35 per hour
