DESCRIPTION:

Small family business with multiple short term rental properties in the Arlington, TX area near the AT&T stadium in search of a handyman/maintenance person for day-to-day maintenance, grounds keeping, trash, and other errands/odd jobs.

SCHEDULE:

This is a PRN position - I cannot provide part time or full time hours, or benefits.
Hours and days vary due to the nature of short term rentals: hours would be PRN during 8am-8pm, and may include weekends
Approximate hours/week 5

DUTIES:

Troubleshooting/fixing appliances, toilets, air conditioner, minor plumbing, minor electrical
Touch up paint
Maintenance requests for units
Caulking, touch up painting, hanging pictures/mirrors, fixing cabinet doors
Spraying for bugs quarterly and as needed
Grounds work - ie. Mowing, weedeating small grass area at all properties during mowing season, rake leaves in the fall
Trash pick up from grounds
Trash out to road on Tuesday afternoon/evenings and Friday afternoon/evenings for pickup
Fixing or looking at broken furniture, and other household items to determine how to replace or repair.
Installing or removing window blinds, hanging ceiling fans, putting simple furniture together (ie. walmart or IKEA)
Troubleshoot wifi, routers, and TV's
Cleaning up after completing job for guests

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of repairs and maintenance required
Must be able to provide own tools
Repair parts reimbursed by northridge
Must have excellent communication
Muist have dependable transportation
Must have flexible availability - last minute requests often do to nature of short term rentals.
Individual needs to have initiative and be able to work alone at most times

PAY

Starting pay at 25/hour, though usually we pay by job
