DESCRIPTION
The Advanced Electrician will provide electrical support to the Owens Corning Science & Technology Facility in Granville, OH. This position will conduct preventative and repair maintenance on site electrical systems, support site projects, and perform other general facilities maintenance tasks.
The Granville Facility includes 22 buildings with world-class capabilities, situated on a campus of 524 acres.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities.
- Implement a personal safety action plan and review with leader
- Work in a safe manner at all times utilizing the proper personal protective equipment
- Perform preventative and repair maintenance on site electrical systems
- Conducts preventative maintenance and testing on site fire alarm system.
- Install and troubleshoot simple to complex electrical control and power systems
- Oversees work of electrical contractors in support of site projects
- Access Work Request System and complete electrical related work requests
- Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
- Follow up with internal customers on open work request status
- Perform other general facilities maintenance tasks
- Be an engaged and contributing member of the Site Operations Team, including attending team meetings and assisting other technicians as necessary
- Other general facilities maintenance as directed by your leader

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial and industrial electrical field
- Minimum of 10 years experience with installation, troubleshooting and repair of fire alarm systems.
- Formal Training and apprenticeship in electrical trades
- Experience with troubleshooting and install of simple to complex electrical controls
- Some experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Electrical journeymen's certificate
- Current state of Ohio fire alarm license
