Job Overview
This call center position is responsible for the intake reports of abuse of adults with disabilities and people age 60 and over. This individual's responsibilities are predicated on the standards of intake as provided by the Illinois Department on Aging and ensure compliance with the state's protocols for Adults with Disabilities.
Summary of essential job functions:
Responsible for intakes for Adult Protective Services (APS).
Responsible for agency's adherence to the policies in the State of Illinois Adult Protective Service Standards
Assessment for potential Priority 1 cases with follow-through to the supervisor of APS.
Any additional assigned responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of our organization.
Minimum Requirements
Seeking individuals with strong communication skills; knowledge or experience in working with vulnerable populations preferred; and ability to work with first responders and other professionals is needed.
Must successfully complete agency training on APS intake procedures.
Must also complete the PATH Inc. 211 training program within 6 months of hire.
FLEXIBLE HOURS - ABILITY TO WORK 16-29 HOURS PER WEEK.
HIGH NEED HOURS:
Weekdays 4:30-8:30pm
Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) Mornings
Holidays
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
