Adena Lakeland - Industrial Mechanic




Summary:

The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery. The Industrial Mechanic will check the performance, clean, lubricate, diagnose, and test damaged machine parts to determine repair necessary.



Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to Construction equipment and machinery

• Dismantle equipment when required and reassemble

• Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance

• Create solid foundations for machines on-site

• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts

• Grind and file machinery parts onsite

• Adheres to the companys safety policies to create a safe work environment

• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Adena Lakeland - Industrial Mechanic

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and characteristics to perform duties of the role

• Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home

• Must maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid, and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistence

• Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions

• Ability to read specifications and blueprints

• Excellent communication skills

• Must have the ability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends when required

• Must be available for "Call Out", "Emergency," and "Outage" work
