Part Time Activities Tech $1,750.00 Sign on & Retention Bonus
Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of unit manager and program director, provides support and supervision to residents on a behavioral health unit.
Provides direct emotional support to residents.
Maintains a safe/therapeutic environment for residents.
Must possess the ability to plan, organize, interpret and implement program goals, objectives and policies necessary for providing excellent quality of care.
Must be able to work independently and have flexibility, personal integrity in addition to being able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
Looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, understanding and willing to assist in creating a homelike/comfortable environment for residents.
Position Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field highly preferred or related experience in mental/behavioral health field.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, interdisciplinary team, and government agencies.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Must be able/willing to assist during emergency situations.
