Powder Painter - 2nd Shift

For nearly 75 years Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a successful, growth-oriented company known as a leader in the weighing industry and our community. We are currently seeking a Powder Painter to join our energetic and skilled Truck Scale department. Second shift employees earn an additional $3.00/hour! This position may be eligible for our new $100/week incentive based on performance and hours worked! Apply to learn more.

At RLWS, the Powder Painter is responsible for completing an electro-static powder coating process on our welded and finished products. This process completed by utilizing a paint gun to apply the correct color of powder paint to an oppositely electro charge metal part. The Powder Painter must ensure final quality of the metal before and after the painting process. This individual will utilize various equipment including industrial lift equipment, paint gun, and overhead crane. This individual is responsible for following strict work instructions and adhering to important safety requirements.

This is a Regular Full-Time position with core working hours of 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday - Friday, with overtime as needed.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Powder Painting experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to read blueprints and other manufacturing documentation
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment

Certificates, licenses, training, or other job-related requirements

• No current lifting restrictions prohibiting lifting up to 50 pounds
