Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Evaluates accounting policies and procedures to reflect changes in business conditions, processes, and accounting
2. Prepares more complex accounting analyses.
3. Support accounting and finance team limit volatility of reporting through hedge accounting for commodities.
Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 2-5 years of accounting-related experience.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; use of excel/word is required.
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA or other advanced degree in business discipline.
2. CPA or CMA certification.
3. Experience in utility accounting, public accounting and hedge reporting, and a working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
4. Demonstrated ability to research technical accounting guidance.
