Job Overview
We are a leader in the commercial vegetation management industry. We are not landscapers. We work with commercial and industrial customers performing services like herbicide application and stormwater maintenance.
This position is for our Towers Division and requires applicants to be able to drive medium-heavy duty trucks to customer sites throughout the North Carolina region to perform services at cell tower sites. Work includes herbicide application, trimming, mowing, weed eating, debris removal, and general maintenance. Frequent travel is required.
Technicians at NaturChem are entry- or associate-level field positions where you will perform a variety of vegetation management services outdoors at customer sites around the region. While experience is not necessary, a willingness to work hard to get the job done and be a team player is important.
In this role you can:
Gain training in equipment and processes
Earn industry certifications
Qualify as a company driver and equipment operator
Grow to higher-level positions with greater pay and responsibility
Become a leader within the team
Must Haves:
Over 21 years of age (for driving positions)
Valid Drivers License with acceptable record (MVR)
Pass pre-employment background check
Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions, walking/standing, pushing/pulling, lifting 50lbs routinely
Ability to travel, sometimes overnight
Basic math and ability to use technology such as iPhones/iPads
Preferred:
Exposure to equipment and tools such as weed eaters, tractors, etc.
Driving experience (CDL a plus)
Pay & Benefits
Technician wages are hourly and based on experience level
Increases available for certifications and experience
Fulltime, permanent position, 45-55 hours per week, Monday-Friday day shift
