Job Overview
NaturChem/Opterra Solutions is looking for experienced ground maintenance technicians/landscape crew members and leaders! Commercial landscape experience is desired. Herbicide application experience is also desired. Some job duties will include mowing, weed eating, hedge trimming, edging sidewalks/curbs, leaf and debris cleanup, and other general grounds maintenance tasks. Although experience is desired, we do offer training for driven individuals with no experience.
Technicians at NaturChem are entry- or associate-level field positions where you will perform a variety of vegetation management services outdoors at customer sites around the region. While experience is not necessary, a willingness to work hard to get the job done and be a team player is important.
In this role you can:
Gain training in equipment and processes
Earn industry certifications
Qualify as a company driver and equipment operator
Grow to higher-level positions with greater pay and responsibility
Become a leader within the team
Must Haves:
Over 18 years old (over 21 for driving positions)
Valid Drivers License with acceptable record (MVR)
Pass pre-employment background check
Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions, walking/standing, pushing/pulling, lifting 50lbs routinely
Ability to travel, sometimes overnight
Basic math and ability to use technology such as iPhones/iPads
Preferred:
Exposure to equipment and tools such as weed eaters, tractors, etc.
Driving experience (CDL a plus)
Pay & Benefits
Technician wages are hourly and based on experience level
Increases available for certifications and experience
Fulltime, permanent position, 45-55 hours per week, Monday-Friday day shift
