We are looking for a team player with solid plumbing skills. Geothermal experience is a plus. We are a member owned cooperative running a retreat center in Central Oregon. We are off the grid and operate our own 50kW hydro-electric power plant, use and monitor river water for drinking water, and operate and extensive geothermal radiant heating system.
o 2 years plumbing experience
o Working knowledge of the Oregon Plumbing Code and OSHA safety standards.
o Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations.
o Experience in monitoring plumbing systems.
o Good written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to write and present proposals
o Ability to plan and manage projects
o Ability to work in a group decision-making system (non-consensus).
o Interest in helping to develop team infrastructure.
o Ability to focus on service to community and guests
o Interest in sustainability
o Interest in living in an intentional community (60-80 residents with 100-120 guests)
o Focus on living simply and sustainably in mountain setting
